Turmeric and ginger smoothie

This smoothie is easy to digest and will keep you full for hours. Turmeric and ginger and green less ripened banana are all great for feeding the microbiome in your gut. Brazil nuts are a great addition to this smoothie, one brazil nut provides your daily requirements of selenium. A mineral needed to support a healthy thyroid.

Ingredients

1Ìýgreen banana less ripened

½ an apple

1–2 brazil nuts

½Ìýtsp of ginger (fresh or dried) 

1ÌýtspÌý´Ç´ÚÌýturmeric

½ÌýtspÌý´Ç´ÚÌýground cinnamon

1Ìýcup of plant-based milk eg, oat milk,Ìýalmond milk,Ìýhemp milkÌý´Ç°ùÌýsoy milk

Optional

1 scoop of plain protein powder

Method

  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
